For some time now I have been working at creating what I consider the perfect fried chicken. This recipe definitely fits the bill. It has an amazingly crunchy crust which we all know is an absolute must and the cayenne gives it that kick that is not at all over powering, yet you know it’s there. I guarantee once you try this recipe you’ll be making it over and over again as it will become a family favorite!
As I was browsing my pantry for dinner this evening I came across a medium –sized sweet potato that was beginning to look like it had seen better days. With my quest to lessen waste my mind began wondering how I could use it. I immediately went to something sweet and landed on a loaf of bread. I knew I had some walnuts which I envisioned working really well in the bread. I will share that this bread was well worth the time! It is exceptionally moist and is the perfect complement to a cup of hot coffee!

There is nothing more satisfying than a delicious crab cake. I’ve had the pleasure of sampling a variety of versions and my quest has been to recreate one in my home. Through lots of trial and error I have determined that a great crab cake requires great quality crab and really fresh ingredients. Oh and let’s not forget…a delicious Roumalade to serve along with it. Suffice to say I think you’ll be pleased with this version….
If you’re looking for a quick, easy and light salad to serve as a side dish this salad won’t disappoint you! You’ll be pleased with its fresh ingredients and sweet and spicy flavor. In my house I have to double the recipe because the typical 4 servings never seems to be enough.
