Here’s an easy, yet flavorful recipe for potato salad. It’s not your typical mayo-based deal, but I can’t exactly say it saves on calories because I’ve added some smokey bacon to give it extra flavor. But the true stars of this dish are the dill and basil, giving the potatoes that yummy freshness! Aside from that, I can’t help but think of spring and mucking about in my herb garden when I eat it and I just know warmer temperatures are just around the corner. This recipe goes great with my chicken recipe and it makes enough for 6 people. Perfect for any picnic! Try it and enjoy!
I’ve been to several restaurants that feature fried ravioli on their menu. While I enjoy it, I often find the sauce to be lacking in flavor and the ravioli soggy. One of Craig’s favorite lines is ” Why dine out, when the majority of what you get can be made better at home, for half the price”? I don’t disagree, but I do have my days when I don’t feel like being in the kitchen and let’s face it – it’s nice to be waited on! That said, I’d been dying to create my own version of fried ravioli and here’s the end result. Some crispy, cheesy ravioli with a spicy dipping sauce that has a hint of sweetness. Enjoy!
